Pecos County, Texas – A fatal accident occurred early Tuesday morning on Interstate 10 when Rene Morales, a 63-year-old resident of Los Angeles, tragically lost his life after his vehicle collided with a deer. The incident took place near mile marker 321.
According to a statement from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at approximately 1:10 a.m. on August 20, 2024. Morales was driving a 2012 Dodge Caravan when he struck the deer, causing his vehicle to overturn. The accident involved only one other car.
