San Antonio, TX — The San Antonio community is mourning the loss of Robert "Westside" Perez Sr., a beloved figure known for his infectious laughter and generous heart. His family, including his daughter-in-law, shared heartfelt memories, describing him as a gentle soul and a wonderful grandfather. His memory will live on in the hearts of his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who cherished the time spent with him. On social media, friends and family have expressed their sorrow and fond memories of Robert Perez Sr. Dominic De la Pena wrote, "Westside!!!!! Love you Man. Rest now Brother. I will not forget the Fun we had at the Cafe all those Years."

He was a big part of a lot of memories we had," while Laura Rodriguez shared, "Steph just told me….that’s so incredibly sad. Definitely some great memories!"
