Brampton, Ontario – The family of Roberto Roxas is mourning his unexpected passing at the age of 78 after he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest following an operation. Roberto, who had been diagnosed with Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Ascites, and Uremia, underwent surgery to remove a lump in his abdomen. While the operation initially seemed successful, his life was tragically cut short.
Roberto’s granddaughter, Izetta Roxas, has organized a fundraiser to honor his memory and provide him with a proper farewell. In her heartfelt message, Izetta expressed the family’s dreams of reuniting with Roberto to live a more comfortable life, sharing moments like karaoke nights and family dinners, which will now never come to pass.
Izetta’s Facebook post reads, "Hi! I’m reaching out because I’m raising funds to give my grandfather, Roberto, a proper farewell after his unexpected passing. Each donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to honoring his memory and fulfilling the dreams he had for our family."
The fundraiser, which aims to raise $3,000 CAD, is asking for prayers and any possible donations to help the family achieve their wish of giving Roberto a dignified sendoff.
If anyone wishes to contribute, they can contact Izetta or donate through the provided link.
As the family and friends rally around in this difficult time, the community is also encouraged to share the fundraiser to help reach the goal.
