Morristown, TN – Sandra Kay Wicker, a beloved resident of Morristown, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on Monday, August 26, 2024, in her home, surrounded by her family. Known for her deep faith and dedication to her loved ones, Sandra’s life was a beacon of selflessness and compassion.
A devout member of Holt’s Baptist Church, Sandra was deeply involved in her community, where she was celebrated for her kindness and generosity. Her commitment to her faith and family defined her life, leaving a lasting legacy of love and guidance for her children and grandchildren.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, John Hopson; her brothers, Russ Collins and Johnny Hopson; her sisters, Kathy Potter and Penny Parker; and her stepfather, Paul “HubCap” Collins. She is survived by her husband, Cliff Wicker, and her children: Dagan Smith (Sarah), Jacey Lovelady (Aaron), Jordan Noe (Jessica), Tiffany Noe, and Elaney Noe. Sandra also leaves behind her mother, Stella Collins, her grandchildren, and several siblings, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.
As the eldest of seven siblings, Sandra played a pivotal role in her family, known for her humor, warmth, and unwavering support. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Holt’s Baptist Church on Thursday, August 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m., officiated by Rev. Alan Lamb and Rev. Ken Cole. Graveside services will take place the following day, Friday, August 30, at 10 a.m. at Holt’s Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are being managed by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
