Sarah Hicks Missing in Midland County – Family and Authorities Urgently Seek Help

Midland County, Michigan – Sarah Hicks, a vulnerable adult, has been reported missing after leaving her AFC home on Sunday, August 25, 2024. The Hicks family and the AFC facility have been in close contact with the Midland County Sheriff’s office, which is actively searching for her.

Sarah Hicks is described as being approximately 5’4" tall, with shoulder-length, semi-curly hair. Her hair is naturally light brown but is currently dyed black with a distinctive red spot in the front. She does not have any tattoos, but her ears are pierced.

Concerns for Sarah’s well-being are heightened because she has been without her medications for several days. Family and authorities are urging anyone who sees Sarah or has any information about her whereabouts to contact the Midland County Sheriff’s office at 989-839-4600.

Pam Spurbeck, a family member, shared the news on Facebook, asking the community for help in spreading the word about Sarah’s disappearance. Many people responded, offering their support and prayers for her safe return.

Becky Little commented, "Oh Marge, I hope she’s found soon and she’s ok." She added, "Make this shareable and we’ll get it out there."

Cathy Hicks Kennard simply wrote, "Sharing," as she joined the effort to locate Sarah. Others, like Gloria Martinez and Amy Christensen-Opperman, offered their prayers, with Martinez stating, "Continued prayers," and Christensen-Opperman saying, "Praying she is found soon!"

Meredith Jones also expressed her concern, commenting, "I shared and am sending prayers… hugs too!"

The community’s outpouring of support underscores the urgency of finding Sarah Hicks and bringing her safely back to her family. The Midland County Sheriff’s office continues to lead the search efforts, urging anyone with information to come forward.
