Tobaccoville, NC – The community is mourning the unexpected passing of Shawn Ingram, a 54-year-old resident of Tobaccoville, North Carolina. Shawn’s sudden death has left his family in deep grief while also facing the daunting task of covering the costs associated with his final arrangements.
A fundraiser organized by Ron Ingram has been set up to help alleviate the financial burden on the family. As of now, $350 has been raised out of a $10,000 goal through five donations. The contributions have come from Patricia Benson and Clark Benson, each donating $100, as well as from Michele Taylor, Melody Christy, and an anonymous donor, each contributing $50.
Ron Ingram, who is leading the fundraising efforts, expressed the family’s immense pain and the challenges they face in covering funeral and memorial expenses, along with related medical bills. The fundraiser serves as a call for help, urging the community to contribute whatever they can to support the family during this difficult time.
On Facebook, friends and community members have shared their thoughts and memories of Shawn. Jayrock Martini posted, “PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE!!!!! This was a friend and a brother to me. ANYTHING will help! Please if you can spare anything, help us lay Shawn Ingram to rest! God Bless and Thank You!” Malery Copen remembered Shawn fondly, commenting, "He was such a cool dude. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing." Another post by Terry N Jennifer Freeman simply read, "Rest in peace, such a nice guy."
The Ingram family has asked for continued prayers and any assistance that can help them honor Shawn’s memory and support each other during this incredibly challenging time.
