Buffalo Grove, Illinois – The suburban community of Buffalo Grove was struck by tragedy on Saturday afternoon when the body of 68-year-old Danny McCoy, a resident of Skokie, was discovered inside a vehicle parked at a local grocery store. The incident took place at Woodman’s Food Market, located at 1550 Deerfield Parkway.
Authorities were alerted to the scene just before 3 p.m. after receiving a call about a foul odor emanating from a blue Chevrolet Equinox parked on the south end of the grocery store’s lot. Concerned for the well-being of the individual inside the vehicle, Buffalo Grove police and fire units responded promptly. Upon arrival, they found McCoy unresponsive.
