South Bend, Indiana – The community of South Bend is mourning the loss of Frank Fanin Jr., who tragically passed away on August 25, 2024, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Frank’s passing has left his family and friends heartbroken as they navigate this difficult time.

A fundraiser has been organized by Kayla Thompson to assist with the expenses for Frank’s final farewell. The goal is to raise $6,000, with $445 already collected from seven generous donors.

In her heartfelt appeal, Kayla Thompson expressed deep gratitude for any contributions, stating that the funds would help lay Frank to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves. She also acknowledged the support of those who may not be able to donate but can help by sharing the fundraiser.

On Facebook, Steven Fanin shared the fundraiser, urging the community to contribute or spread the word. He wrote, "Every little bit counts, so share it out, and if you can, donate. It would be greatly appreciated by me and my family. Thank you, and God bless."
