Tega Cay, South Carolina – The Tega Cay Police Department is mourning the loss of Lieutenant Lauren Galloway, a dedicated 12-year veteran of the force. Lieutenant Galloway passed away today after a prolonged battle with cancer, leaving a deep void in the department and the community she served so faithfully.
Lieutenant Galloway was widely respected for her leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to public service. She was not only a mentor to her colleagues but also a trusted figure in the Tega Cay community. Known for her kindness and selflessness, she consistently put the needs of others before her own, both within the department and in her interactions with the citizens of Tega Cay.
The Tega Cay Police Department expressed their grief in a heartfelt statement, acknowledging the significant impact Lieutenant Galloway had on her peers and the community. "Lauren was a leader, a mentor, and a provider to our department. She was so kind to everyone and served the citizens of Tega Cay selflessly," the statement read.
