Lawrenceburg, Tennessee – Terry Ray Osborne, a long-time resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the age of 65. A beloved figure in the community, Terry was known for his kindness, dedication, and infectious smile, which left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Terry was a native of Lawrenceburg and worked as a general manager at KFC for 48 years, where he became a cherished leader and mentor to many. His colleagues and community members have expressed their sorrow at his passing, sharing memories of the warmth and positivity he brought to their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence "Pete" and Ruth Clifton Osborn, his brother, Gerald Osborn, and his niece, Kassie Moore Jackson. He is survived by his two sons, Jake Osborne and Zackery Osborne, his daughter, Nikita Violet, and five grandsons, Braxton Troglen, Lincoln Troglen, Lane Violet, Layden Violet, and Zade Violet. Terry is also survived by his two sisters, Sheila Moore and Sherry Osborn, the mother of his children, Rea Clifton, and four nieces, Brandi Kelley, Ashley Osborn, Ryan Horton, and Latasha Osborn.
The family will receive friends at Neal Funeral Home, located at 231 N. Military Avenue in Lawrenceburg, on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 30, 2024, with Brandon Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.
