Toby Isjustherself, also known as Toby Connolly, passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon with her family by her side. Toby, a beloved member of her community, had been receiving care at UC for the past two weeks. Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her.
Her son, Mike Connolly, shared the sad news on Facebook, expressing his gratitude for the support his family has received during this challenging time. He wrote, "My mom Toby Connolly (Toby Isjustherself) passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon. Laura, Jen & I were by her side & she received great care at UC over the past 2 weeks. I appreciate everyone who reached out to me recently & apologize that I haven’t gotten back to people yet, the past couple weeks have been a whirlwind."
The news of Toby’s passing prompted an outpouring of condolences and heartfelt messages from friends and family on social media. Matt Gillespie expressed his sorrow, saying, “I’m so very sorry for your loss. She was such a wonderful person. I am glad I got to know her. Toby was remembered fondly by those who knew her. Pam Griffith-Harris shared, “Oh my lord… I had no idea Toby was ill..I worked with her at Jewish for years, she was a delightful and beautiful soul..My deepest and sincere condolences.”
