Newtownhamilton, Northern Ireland – The Newtownhamilton community is grieving the unexpected passing of Tracey Mc Verry, a beloved glass artist and owner of White/Rock Glass Studio. Tracey, whose work was widely respected and admired, passed away recently, leaving a profound void in both the local community and the broader art world.

Tracey was a talented artist, known for her stunning glasswork that reflected her deep connection to the natural beauty of Northern Ireland. She was an alumna of the University of Ulster in Belfast and had cultivated her passion for art from a young age, further developed during her time at St. Paul’s High School in Bessbrook.

Her studio, White/Rock Glass Studio, became a beacon of creativity in Newtownhamilton, where she created intricate pieces that told stories and connected with people on a personal level. Her contributions to the art world earned her a respected place in the community, and her loss is felt deeply by all who knew her.

Tributes have poured in on social media, reflecting the widespread sadness and support from those who were touched by her life and work. The Whitecross Community Association shared their sorrow, stating, "We are deeply sorry to learn of the passing of Tracey Mc Verry; her untimely passing is a huge loss to our community."
