Potts Camp, Mississippi – The community of Potts Camp is reeling after the tragic loss of Alyssa Moseley, who passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2024, at the age of 27. Alyssa, a mother of two young children, Karson (5) and Ari (18 months), was found deceased in her home, leaving her family and friends devastated.

Alyssa’s passing has prompted an outpouring of support on social media, where many have shared their condolences and memories. Nikita Ingram, a close family member, expressed her grief by saying, "Alyssa is my granddaughter Ari’s mom, if you can donate. PLEASE HELP." Others have joined in sharing their heartfelt messages. Marcia Pegues-Ewing commented, "I’m so sorry for your loss," while Norma Pegues added, "I’m sorry for your loss, my condolences to your family."

In response to this tragic event, a fundraiser has been organized by Heather Bing to support Alyssa’s mother, Bridgette Taylor, who is now caring for Alyssa’s two children. The fundraiser has so far raised $1,155 of its $3,000 goal, with donations coming from friends, family, and the broader community. Chris and Amy Clarkson made the largest donation of $250, with others like Emily Gurley contributing to the cause.

The loss of Alyssa at such a young age has left a significant emotional and financial burden on her family, particularly as she did not have life insurance. Heather Bing, the organizer of the fundraiser, emphasized the need for community support, stating, "Please, if you can donate, do so, and if not, please share and keep them all in your prayers."

Alyssa Moseley’s death has left a deep void in the lives of her family, especially her two young children, who will now grow up without their mother. The community continues to rally around the family during this incredibly difficult time, offering both financial and emotional support.
