Grant County, Wisconsin – A devastating motorcycle accident on Saturday evening led to the untimely death of 27-year-old Trevor King from Platteville and left 25-year-old Paige Adams, also from Platteville, critically injured. The tragic incident occurred at the intersection of County Highway B and Highway 61 in the Township of Potosi around 7:30 p.m.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened when a car driven by 25-year-old Jacob Marshall of Cuba City failed to stop at a stop sign on County Highway B and collided with King’s 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Emergency responders, including Potosi EMS, fire departments, and sheriff’s deputies, quickly arrived at the scene. Despite their efforts, King sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Grant Regional Health Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Paige Adams was also critically injured and taken to a local hospital, with her current condition remaining unknown.
Marshall and his three passengers escaped the crash without injury, while the community mourns the loss of Trevor King, whose life was tragically cut short. This accident underscores the critical importance of adhering to traffic laws and the potentially fatal consequences of a momentary lapse in judgment.
