Tragic Murder-Suicide in Bexar County Claims the Lives of Qing Xing and Yeqin Huang

Converse, Texas – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victims of a heartbreaking murder-suicide that occurred in a northeast Bexar County home on August 17, 2024. The victims have been named as 59-year-old Qing Xing and 62-year-old Yeqin Huang.

Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at approximately 1:55 p.m. at a residence located on the 7100 block of Quarter Moon. Upon their arrival, authorities discovered the bodies of both individuals, who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.

According to the medical examiner, the deaths have been classified as a murder-suicide. Qing Xing, identified as the perpetrator, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, and her death has been ruled a suicide. Yeqin Huang, who was found with multiple gunshot wounds, has been classified as a homicide victim. In total, authorities reported approximately 10 gunshot wounds between the two victims.

The exact nature of the relationship between Xing and Huang remains unclear, though it was confirmed that they were involved in a relationship.
