Unsolved Murder of Michael Kenneth Mowry III in Rochester, New Hampshire – Authorities Appeal for Public Assistance

Rochester, New Hampshire – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in solving the murder of Michael Kenneth Mowry III, a 19-year-old who was tragically killed during a home invasion on Labor Day weekend in 2020. The New Hampshire Attorney General, John Formella, made a renewed appeal on Monday for any information that could lead to solving this unsolved case.

Michael Kenneth Mowry III was found dead in his bedroom at 64 Monroe Drive, Apartment 1, on August 30, 2020. The incident, reported around 3:15 a.m., involved a home invasion carried out by four masked men. Mowry had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the neck, as determined by the autopsy, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Despite extensive investigations, including interviews with other young residents who lived with Mowry, no suspects have been identified from that group. However, authorities have recently identified a vehicle used by the assailants to flee the scene and believe the suspects may have connections to Haverhill, Massachusetts, or the Merrimack Valley area.

Mowry’s death has left his family devastated. His mother, Aimee Lussier, described her son as a “generous and loving kid,” deeply affectionate and particularly close to his three younger brothers. Lussier shared the profound pain of losing her son, known for his warmth and his habit of always responding to declarations of love by saying, “I love you more.”

In light of the ongoing investigation, authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Tips can be reported anonymously by calling the Rochester CrimeLine at 603-335-6500 or by texting “TEXT4CASH” to 274637. Rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information leading to an arrest, aiming to bring justice to Mowry’s family.

On social media, individuals have shared their thoughts on this tragic case. Ryan Twombly commented, "Tenor," while Gadomski Sugarbear simply said, "Ha Of course." The public’s cooperation and awareness are crucial in bringing those responsible for Mowry’s death to justice.
