Urgent Search Underway for Missing 28-Year-Old Tabitha Verbrugge Last Seen in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, Colorado – The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued a Missing Indigenous Person Alert for Tabitha Verbrugge, a 28-year-old Native American woman who was last seen in the 1300 block of South Tejon Street near I-25 in Colorado Springs. Tabitha was reported missing on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at approximately 9:20 a.m.

Tabitha Verbrugge is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Although her driver’s license photo shows her with blonde hair, it is believed that her hair is now brown. There are significant concerns for her safety.

The community is urged to assist in the search for Tabitha. If anyone has seen her or has any information regarding her whereabouts, they are encouraged to immediately contact 911 or the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 719-390-5555.

On social media, several individuals have expressed their concern and support for finding Tabitha. The Facebook group "Coffee, Crime & Wine" posted about the CBI alert, while users like Trevor Ton have shared the information widely.
