Urgent Search Underway for Missing Los Angeles Teen, Rodjanae Harrell

Los Angeles, California – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is urgently seeking public assistance in locating 17-year-old Rodjanae Harrell, who was last seen on February 23, 2024, near East 120th Street and Wilmington Avenue in Los Angeles. Authorities are particularly concerned for Rodjanae’s well-being due to her at-risk status, which includes her diagnosis of bipolar disorder.

Rodjanae is described as a Black female, 5’04” tall, weighing 119 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black and white pants, a white sleeveless shirt, and white tennis shoes. It is reported that she ran away from her social worker to avoid placement, raising further concerns about her safety.

The community and law enforcement agencies are rallying together to find Rodjanae, with several individuals expressing their worries on social media. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Century Sheriff Station at (323) 568-4918. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be provided through Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS or via the “P3 Tips” Mobile APP.

Rodjanae has been missing since February, and her case is now being featured on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s website. As of August 13, 2024, she remains missing, and her family, friends, and the community are desperate for her safe return.

One concerned individual posted on Facebook, reflecting the collective anxiety: “We just want Rodjanae to be safe. Please help bring her home.” Another comment read, “Praying for her safe return and hoping she is found soon.”

The search for Rodjanae Harrell continues, with authorities and the community hoping for any leads that could bring her home safely.
