Lee’s Summit, Missouri – The Lee’s Summit Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for Patricia A McCarthy, a 74-year-old black female, who was last seen on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Patricia, who was driving a brown KIA Sportage with Colorado license plates DPAX64, was last captured on a license plate camera in Blue Springs at 5:55 p.m. after being seen earlier at 4:00 p.m. Her last clothing description remains unknown.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Patricia’s whereabouts to contact the Lee’s Summit Police Department at 816-969-7390 (option 7 for dispatch) or to call 911 immediately.
The community has rallied on social media to share Patricia’s information. Helen Smith posted about the alert on the "Missing And Endangered Nw Missouri and Surrounding Areas" page about an hour ago, while Paula Pyzia shared it on the "wantedbythepolice" page five hours ago.
