Warner Robins, Georgia – A tranquil evening gathering turned into a scene of chaos and fear as gunfire erupted during a drive-by shooting on Shirley Drive, leaving four individuals hospitalized. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on August 26, 2024, during a party at a residence located at 308 Shirley Drive.
Warner Robins Police arrived to find two victims, a 49-year-old male and a 24-year-old female, lying in the front yard, suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services quickly transported them to a nearby hospital. Two other victims, a 37-year-old female and a 38-year-old female, also wounded in the attack, managed to drive themselves to the hospital.
The neighborhood, typically known for its peaceful atmosphere, was shaken as the gunfire disrupted the party, leaving the community in shock. The Warner Robins Police Department, led by Chief John Wagner, has launched a full-scale investigation into the incident. The Criminal Investigation Division and the Identification Criminalistics team are meticulously combing the scene for evidence, while detectives interview witnesses and review surveillance footage from the area.
