St. Peters, Missouri – Connor Lipp, a 23-year-old resident of Winfield, Missouri, tragically lost his life in a fatal accident involving a semitruck early Monday morning.
The accident occurred around 3 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 70, near Mid Rivers Mall Drive. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lipp was walking in Lane 2 of the highway when a semitruck traveling in the same lane tried to swerve left to avoid him but was unable to do so, resulting in the fatal collision.
Following the accident, the Missouri Department of Transportation reported that four right lanes were closed to allow for investigation. By approximately 6 a.m., the scene had been cleared, and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
