Angie Murray, Scotland—The community is deeply saddened by the passing of Angie Murray, a cherished aunt, wife, mother, and grandmother. Angie was known for her kind heart, love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
A heartfelt message was shared by Bobbie Victoria on Facebook, where she expressed her sorrow and gratitude for the outpouring of support from friends and family. Bobbie urged everyone to share Angie’s story and contribute to the fundraiser that has been set up to give Angie the beautiful send-off she deserves. She mentioned that any leftover funds would help support Angie’s husband, daughters, and grandchildren during this difficult time.
The fundraiser, organized by Skye Masson on behalf of Harper, Angie’s granddaughter, has already exceeded its initial goal. As of now, £660 has been raised out of the £500 target, thanks to the generosity of 22 donors. The first donation was made by Shaunna Poliskie, and the top donation of £100 came from Renee Shaw. Margaret Ball recently contributed £10.
In a touching tribute, Skye shared that the family is planning a special event in memory of Angie. They will climb Conic Hill on Saturday, 24th August, with sunflowers, Angie’s favorite flower, to honor her memory and pay tribute to Joe McGuinness, Angie’s late husband, who would have celebrated his birthday just three days later. Skye mentioned that while climbing hills may not be everyone’s favorite activity, the thought of Angie laughing at the effort in her memory brings comfort to those participating.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Angie Murray’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
