Dave Campbell, Stratham, NH—The community is mourning the loss of Dave Campbell, fondly known as "The Wine Guy" on Ceres Street. His passing has left a void in the hearts of many who cherished his generosity, kindness, and unwavering support for the local arts.
Dave Campbell was a beloved figure in the Portsmouth community, known for his passion for wine and his dedication to local arts and non-profit organizations. His sons, Scott and Todd Campbell, have set up a fundraiser to honor their father’s memory. The “Dave Campbell Memorial Fund” aims to create a permanent memorial on Ceres Street or another meaningful location close by, where people can continue to feel his presence.
The goal of the fundraiser is $15,000, with any additional funds to be donated equally among local charities and non-profits, including the Seacoast Reparatory Theatre, The Music Hall, and Prescott Park Arts Festival—organizations that Dave was deeply passionate about. As of now, the fundraiser is just beginning, and the community is encouraged to contribute to help preserve Dave’s legacy.
Scott and Todd are also planning a "Celebration of Dave’s Life" party, where contributions toward making the event special, including donations of food and wine, are welcomed.
Dave Campbell’s dedication to giving back to the greater Portsmouth community has left a lasting impact, and his memory will continue to be celebrated by all who knew and loved him.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dave Campbell. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
