Francisco Garcia, Nashville, TN—The Nashville community is mourning the loss of Francisco Garcia, a 17-year-old high school senior who tragically passed away this past Friday. Francisco worked as a line cook at Beyond The Edge, a popular local establishment. His unexpected passing has left those who knew him deeply saddened, and his family is now faced with the challenge of bringing him back to his homeland in Guatemala for his final resting place.

In response to this tragic loss, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Ethan Bowles to help Francisco’s family cover the expenses needed to send him home. The fundraiser, titled "Support Francisco Garcia’s Final Journey," has so far raised $1,740 out of a $15,000 goal, with contributions from eight generous donors.

The community has shown an outpouring of support on social media, sharing their thoughts and memories of Francisco. Among those who have contributed are Heather McKinney and Heather Dennison, along with several anonymous donors. Their kindness is a testament to the impact Francisco had on those around him.

Francisco’s friends and colleagues from Beyond The Edge have been particularly affected by his passing. The restaurant family has expressed their grief and support, urging others to contribute to the fundraiser and help bring Francisco home to his family in Guatemala.
