Gianni Magrini, Chattanooga, TN—Gianni Magrini passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 16, 2024, leaving behind his beloved wife, Adriana Lopez-Abadia, who is now facing the unimaginable task of continuing life without him. Gianni was not only Adriana’s husband but also her soulmate and life partner, someone with whom she shared a deep and unbreakable connection.
The couple’s journey began 25 years ago in Caracas, Venezuela, where they met and formed a bond that withstood the test of time. Despite the challenges of distance and life circumstances, their love persisted, culminating in their marriage in October 2021. They had built a life together in Miami, Florida, before relocating to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they lived with their two cherished pets, Dora and Draco, and Gianni’s father, Juan Magrini.
Adriana is now seeking the community’s support to cover the expenses of Gianni’s funeral and to assist with her sudden move to Chile, where her family resides. The unexpected costs have placed a heavy burden on her during this already difficult time. Additionally, she hopes to bring her two dogs, who were a source of great comfort to both her and Gianni, to Chile as they hold a special place in her heart.
A fundraiser organized by Adriana on behalf of her late husband has seen some support, with $540 raised out of a $20,000 goal, thanks to the generosity of five donors. Adriana expresses deep gratitude for the kindness and support she has received, which is helping her find strength during this painful period.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Adriana Lopez-Abadia and the entire Magrini family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
