Hailey Patterson, Georgetown, SC—The Georgetown community is mourning the loss of Hailey Patterson, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 16th, 2024, at the age of 18. Hailey was a vibrant and joyous young woman who brought light and love to everyone around her. Her untimely passing has left her family, friends, and community heartbroken.
Hailey was known for her deep faith and devotion to the Lord, living her life surrounded by love and spreading joy wherever she went. Her parents, Heather and Timmy Patterson, are devastated by the loss of their daughter, and the entire family is struggling to cope with this unimaginable tragedy.
Kandace Ingraiti, a close family member, has organized a fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by Hailey’s parents during this difficult time. The fundraiser aims to raise $10,000 to support the Patterson family, and as of now, it is just beginning to gain support.
In a touching Facebook post, Kandace expressed the profound impact Hailey had on her family, stating, "Our family has truly been rocked this year. Hailey Patterson, you will be so missed. Such a beautiful young soul. Please send all the prayers to my family as we navigate this. We love you, Hailey. Give Nanny a big hug from all of us."
Others in the community have also shared their condolences and prayers on social media. Pam Noel commented, "I’m so sorry Kandace. So young." Deborah Everhart Webb reflected on the loss, saying, "So damn sad. That beautiful young lady had her whole life in front of her. No doubt she’d have had a wonderful life. I know the entire family is devastated and in shock. I am so sorry. Sending prayers for strength and peace for all." The outpouring of support from friends and community members shows the deep impact Hailey had on those who knew her.
A Celebration of Life for Hailey and her sister-in-law, Kisa Wilson, will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. A Committal Ceremony with Interment will follow at Holmes Cemetery, with services directed by McKenzie Funeral Home. The Patterson family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 1 PM-4 PM and again starting at 6 PM that evening.
