Katherine (Kat) Mouton, Lake Charles, LA—The community is deeply saddened by the passing of Katherine (Kat) Mouton on August 16th. Known for her selflessness and compassion, Kat was a beloved mother, wife, sister, friend, and nurse who spent her life spreading love and kindness to everyone around her. Her unexpected passing has left a profound void in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Kat’s impact on the lives of her loved ones is immeasurable. She was always in the corner of those she cared for, offering unwavering support and love. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to be remembered by all who were touched by her life.
To help support Kat’s family during this difficult time, her close friend Megan Thibodeaux has organized a GoFundMe campaign. The fundraiser aims to raise $25,000 to ease the financial burden on her husband and their five young children as they navigate this tragic loss. As of today, the campaign has raised $705, thanks to the generosity of donors such as Liz Hebert, Erin Bordelon, Amanda Guthrie, Sarah Chaudary, and Alexis Hare.
