Despite being placed under sedation in hopes of recovery, she tragically did not make it.
Kayla’s passing has deeply impacted her family and friends, especially her mother, Angie, who is mourning the loss of her beloved eldest daughter. Kayla was cherished by many and remembered as a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. Her presence lit up any room she entered, making everyone around her feel better, no matter how down they were.
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized by Miguel Dejesus on behalf of Angie to honor Kayla’s bright spirit. The goal is to raise $10,000 to assist with the memorial and funeral expenses. So far, the fundraiser is just beginning, with no donations yet, but the community is expected to come together to support the family during this difficult time.
