Leobardo Sosa Tapia, Redding, CA—The community of Redding, California, mourns the tragic loss of Leobardo Sosa Tapia, who passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2024, in a devastating automobile accident. Leobardo was only thirty years old, leaving behind a grieving family, including his beloved wife and two young sons, aged six and three.
Leobardo was known for his joyful spirit, hard work, humility, and kind-hearted nature. He was the pillar and primary provider for his small family, making his sudden passing a profound loss not only to his loved ones but also to the entire community.
A fundraiser has been organized by Ilsi Moran to assist Leobardo’s family with funeral expenses and to help send his body back to Mexico so that his mother and other family members can bid their final farewells and lay him to rest beside his father. The fundraiser aims to reach a goal of $15,000, and as of now, they are still seeking their first donation. Any contributions, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated, with any excess funds going to support his wife and children in the difficult times ahead.
The community is also encouraged to offer their prayers for Leobardo’s eternal rest and for strength and resignation for his grieving family.
