Amelia, OH—Lisa Allen Young passed away unexpectedly, leaving her family and community in deep sorrow. Lisa was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was just 47 years old at the time of her passing, a loss made even more painful by the fact that her mother had passed away only six weeks earlier.
Lisa leaves behind her husband of ten and a half years, Derrick Allen, along with her three sons Bret Little, Dustin Hon, and Logan Hon. Her sister, Cathleen Laskay, and multiple grandchildren, nephews, and nieces also mourn her loss.
A fundraiser has been organized by Alexander Slate to help cover the expenses for Lisa’s memorial and to support her grieving family during this difficult time. The goal is to raise $2,000, and so far, $200 has been raised through the kindness of four donors: Marcellina Nursement, Michael T Carraher, Michelle Viox, and Slate Kenneth. Every donation is crucial as the family is on a tight timeline to arrange Lisa’s final arrangements, with only 72 hours before the state intervenes.
The community has shown its support through heartfelt messages on social media. Timmy Brewer shared, “This loss was completely unexpected, and due to the timing of her passing and the loss of her mother 6 weeks ago, our family is in an unfortunate situation financially to put Lisa to rest!” Mac Casey, expressing his disbelief, simply wrote, "Noooooo."
Lisa’s family is facing an overwhelming financial burden during this tragic time. They are grateful for any support they receive, which will help them bring Lisa to rest and allow her husband to grieve without additional financial stress.
