Known for her unwavering dedication to her family and community, Lola Lily’s legacy extends far beyond her immediate family, touching countless lives throughout her century on Earth.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Lola Lily was a mother of nine and lived through some of the most challenging periods in history, including World War II. Despite these hardships, she remained a pillar of strength, eventually becoming a great-great-grandmother, and her influence on her family and community was profound.

Her grandson, Vincent Mangle, has organized a fundraiser to assist with the costs associated with her passing. The fundraiser aims to raise $5,000 to cover hospital bills, funeral expenses, and travel fees for family members who need to return home to grieve. As of today, $1,000 has been raised, with two generous donations from Preston Joines contributing $500 each.

Vincent, who is unable to be with his family during this difficult time due to work commitments, expressed his deep gratitude for the support from the community. He emphasized that Lola Lily valued community above all, a tradition that her family continues to uphold.
