Chris Hansell, a longtime friend of Max’s, shared a heartfelt post on Facebook, saying, "Max Fineran was one of the few boys who was nice to me in high school—he was an incredible guy with one of the biggest hearts and a HUGE talent. I will never forget the endless hours spent in the theatre together and the countless sleepovers throughout our childhood. Thank you, Max, for being such an incredible light on this Earth. I am in absolute shock to hear of his passing, and my heart goes out to his family."
Jo Hanna expressed her sorrow, simply stating, "This is so painful," while Kristina Leeds echoed the sentiment, saying, "This is so tragic oh my god."
A GoFundMe campaign titled "Continuing Max’s Legacy" has been organized by Guy Zompa to support Sutton and their future family.
