Max Fineran, Egg Harbor City, NJ Community Mourns a Beloved Member

Egg Harbor City, NJ—The community is mourning the loss of Max Fineran, who tragically passed away on August 18th. Known as the "Go To Guy," Max was a larger-than-life personality whose love and warmth touched everyone he met. His unforgettable smile and infectious laugh made him a beloved figure among friends, family, and all who had the fortune of knowing him.

Max leaves behind his wife, Sutton Fineran, who is expecting their first child this December. The news of Max’s passing has sent shockwaves through the community, with many taking to social media to express their grief and share memories.

Chris Hansell, a longtime friend of Max’s, shared a heartfelt post on Facebook, saying, "Max Fineran was one of the few boys who was nice to me in high school—he was an incredible guy with one of the biggest hearts and a HUGE talent. I will never forget the endless hours spent in the theatre together and the countless sleepovers throughout our childhood. Thank you, Max, for being such an incredible light on this Earth. I am in absolute shock to hear of his passing, and my heart goes out to his family."

Jo Hanna expressed her sorrow, simply stating, "This is so painful," while Kristina Leeds echoed the sentiment, saying, "This is so tragic oh my god."

A GoFundMe campaign titled "Continuing Max’s Legacy" has been organized by Guy Zompa to support Sutton and their future family. The campaign has already raised $995 out of a $30,000 goal, with the first donation of $250 made by Guy Zompa Jr., who also contributed the top donation. The funds will go directly to helping Sutton navigate this difficult time as she prepares for the arrival of their child.

Max’s passing is a significant loss to everyone who knew him, and his memory will undoubtedly live on through the countless lives he touched.
