Melinda Myszoglad, Naples, FL— The community is mourning the unexpected loss of Melinda Myszoglad, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 52. Melinda was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend whose generosity and love touched everyone around her.

Her passing leaves behind a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her. Melinda was known for her selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her son, Nicholas Kirk, was her pride and joy, and she devoted her life to ensuring his happiness and well-being. Her father, Ferenc Myszoglad, and her sister, Timea Myszoglad Morgan, along with her nephew Franky Myszoglad and niece Kayla Elbe, are all grieving the loss of a woman who was the glue that held the family together.

Melinda was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life—fishing, cooking, farming, gardening, and spending time with her loved ones. Her dedication to her family was evident in the countless family gatherings she organized, planned, and hosted, always making sure everything was perfect for those she loved.

A GoFundMe campaign has been organized by her sister, Timea Myszoglad, to help cover the costs of Melinda’s memorial expenses and medical bills. The campaign has raised $300 of its $10,000 goal, with donations coming from Stephen D Raleigh, Frank Aiello, and Bryan Harms, each contributing $100 to the cause.

Joe Hendricksen, a close friend, shared a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, expressing how Melinda had changed his life forever. He spoke of how grateful he was to have met her and how he would cherish the memories they shared until the end of his days. Joe also pledged to honor Melinda’s wishes by supporting her son Nicholas and helping him become an amazing person, following in his mother’s footsteps.

Kayla Elbe, Melinda’s niece, also shared her love and support on Facebook, saying, "We love you Joe and Nick so much! We’re here with anything you need; she was the best aunt."
