Perfecto Simental, Brighton, CO—Perfecto Simental has sadly passed away, leaving his family and community in deep sorrow. He had been battling liver and pancreatic cancer with immense strength and determination. Despite his resilient spirit, he ultimately could not overcome the disease.
Perfecto was a devoted father, husband, uncle, brother, and friend. He was known for his willingness to offer a helping hand, wise advice, and unwavering support to those around him. His dreams and goals were many, but his illness prevented him from seeing them fully realized.
In memory of his life and to fulfill his final wish, a fundraiser has been organized by his son, Jaime Simental. The funds raised will cover funeral expenses and the costs associated with returning Perfecto’s body to Mexico, his homeland, as he had wished. The family expresses their deep gratitude for the support during this challenging time.
“Dad, thank you for all the memories, advice, and even the scoldings. We will miss you, but you will never be forgotten,” Jaime shared, echoing the sentiments of the entire Simental family.
