Ray Gonzalez, Montgomery, TX—Ray Gonzalez passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of love, friendship, and music that has touched many lives. His passing has brought profound grief to his wife, Giny Gonzalez, and those who knew him well.
Ray was not just a wonderful husband to Giny, but also an incredible musician and a fantastic friend to many. His impact on the lives of those around him was immeasurable, and his absence is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In memory of Ray, a fundraiser has been organized by Joe Beam to support Giny with the day-to-day expenses during this difficult time. The fundraiser has set a goal of $10,000, and so far, $170 has been raised through the generous donations of friends and family. Contributions have been made by Kelly Brueggen, Josh Wiggins, Emily Zaras, and Lorri Hamm.
The community has come together on social media to express their condolences and share memories of Ray. Blythe Kirkwood, who is close to the Gonzalez family, shared information about the fundraiser and how others can help. Raynette Dampier-Stanley, Ray’s aunt, expressed her gratitude for the support extended to Giny, calling it a wonderful gesture for Ray’s memory.
A service to celebrate Ray’s life will be held at The Woodlands Methodist Church on August 27 at 3 pm. Friends and loved ones are encouraged to share their memories, photos, and videos for use at the service through a special form set up for this purpose.
Ray’s legacy will live on through the music he created and the love he shared with everyone around him. His memory will be eternal, cherished by all who had the honor of knowing him.
We are deeply saddened by Ray Gonzalez’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Giny Gonzalez and the entire family during this challenging time.
