Richard Rick Allen Kintigh, San Antonio, TX— Richard "Rick" Allen Kintigh passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2024, leaving his family and friends in deep sorrow. Rick, born on October 8, 1960, in Stuttgart, Germany, was known for his love of hunting, fishing, and sports. He was a skilled handyman and a jack of all trades, beloved by many in his community.
Rick is survived by his daughter Kaylee Kintigh, his sisters Lou Ann and Vicki, his brother Bobby and his wife Evelyn, along with numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, James Robert and Mary Ruth Kintigh, and his brother David Kintigh preceded him in death. Rick’s sudden passing has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew him, especially his daughter, Kaylee, who was the love of his life.
In response to this tragic loss, Kaylee’s cousin, Meaghan Barth, has organized a fundraiser to assist with Rick’s funeral expenses. The fundraiser, which has a goal of $10,000, is currently in its early stages with no donations yet, highlighting the urgent need for community support.
The family kindly requests donations in lieu of flowers, which can be made through the GoFundMe page or directly to Kaylee via Venmo. They also appreciate prayers and the sharing of the fundraiser link to help reach more people. Funeral arrangements for Rick will be announced at a later date.
Rick Kintigh will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through the love and dedication of his family and friends.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Kintigh family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this incredibly difficult time.
