Ricky Ricardo Gomez Blanchard, San Francisco, CA Community Supports Repatriation Efforts

Ricky Ricardo Gomez Blanchard, a native of Punto Fijo, Venezuela, passed away on August 16th, 2024, in San Francisco, California, leaving behind a grieving father and community. Born on August 18th, 1988, Ricky was just shy of his 36th birthday when he passed away. His passing has left his father, who resides in Venezuela, deeply saddened and seeking assistance to bring Ricky’s ashes back to his homeland for a final resting place.

In light of this tragic loss, a fundraiser has been organized by Steaven Alexander Caldera to support the repatriation of Ricky’s ashes. The goal is to raise $10,000 to cover the costs associated with sending Ricky’s remains to Venezuela, where his family awaits to honor him according to their traditions.

As of now, the fundraiser has garnered $615 from eight donations. Contributors like Karla Agudelo, Alexis Sepulveda, and Carlos Gomez, among others, have shown their support through generous donations, with the hope of reaching the goal needed to fulfill Ricky’s father’s wishes.

Ricky had no immediate family in California, making this effort particularly important for ensuring that he can rest in peace in his native land, surrounded by loved ones.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Ricky Ricardo Gomez Blanchard’s family and loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
