Robert Herman Stenman, Blaine, MN Community Grieves Sudden Loss

Blaine, MN—The community is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Robert Herman Stenman, who died on Friday, August 16th. Robert, lovingly referred to as "Herman" by his family and friends, was a cherished brother and a valued member of the Blaine community.

His sister, Karen Chapkin, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, expressing the family’s need for financial assistance to cover funeral expenses. The funeral is scheduled for September 7th in Blaine, Minnesota. Karen wrote, "My brother Robert ‘Herman’ Stenman passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16th. The family is seeking financial support to provide for the funeral expenses. We sincerely appreciate your support of any kind during this difficult time. God Bless."

The community has already begun showing their support, both emotionally and financially. Linda Lestersen Thomas shared her condolences, saying, "So sorry for your loss, losing a sibling is such an empty feeling. Hugs to you." Another friend, Renee Clitty Sjodin, commented, "Oh, Karen, I am so sorry. I liked Herman. Hugs to you."

In response to the family’s needs, a fundraiser was created by Stephen Chapkin on August 17th, 2024. The goal is to raise $10,000 to help with funeral costs. So far, $330 has been raised through donations from eight contributors. The outpouring of support from friends and community members reflects the impact Herman had on those around him.
