Serena Graham, Ypsilanti, MI—Serena Graham, a deeply cherished member of the community, passed away on Sunday, August 11th, 2024. Known for her warm heart and dedication as a top-flight security guard, Serena’s absence is felt profoundly by those who knew her. She leaves behind three children and three grandchildren, all of whom are struggling with the sudden loss.
In response to this tragedy, Dawn Coppock has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the funeral expenses. The fundraiser, titled "Support Serena Graham’s Funeral Expenses," has set a goal of $10,000. So far, $215 has been raised through the kind donations of four supporters: Dawn Coppock ($100), Tracy Franklin ($40), Trent Stevens ($50), and Kyle Love ($25).
The community has also taken to Facebook to share their memories and express their grief. Among the many heartfelt posts, Khaman Thomas shared his support with a touching message. The love and respect Serena garnered are evident in the outpouring of tributes from those who knew her.
