Sheila Wannos, a cherished resident of Villa Park, IL, passed away recently, leaving her family and friends in deep sorrow. On Friday evening, a tragic accident took her life, and the community is now mourning the loss of a woman known for her vibrant spirit and loving nature.

Sheila was a mother of two and a grandmother of three. Her daughter, Rachel Lux, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to assist the family during this challenging time. Rachel shared her devastation on Facebook, expressing how much she will miss her mother. She also mentioned that a Celebration of Life ceremony would be announced soon.

Sheila was a person who brought light into the lives of those around her. She loved to garden, dance, and make others feel cherished. Her infectious smile and warm personality were a testament to her caring nature, whether she was hosting family gatherings or working in the hospitality industry. Sheila’s love for Josh Groban’s music, particularly the song "You Raise Me Up," was well-known among those close to her.

Rachel Lux is asking for support from the community in lieu of flowers. The GoFundMe has a goal of $6,000 to cover the costs associated with the Celebration of Life for Sheila.
