Tammy Matthews, Princeton Community in Mourning Over Sudden Loss

Princeton, WV—Tammy Matthews, a lifelong resident of the Princeton area, passed away suddenly this morning at the age of 41, leaving her family and community in deep sorrow. Tammy, known for her kindness and caring nature, leaves behind her husband, Anthony Robbins, and their three children: Madison, 11, Chelsey, 16, and Raven, 21.

The sudden passing of Tammy has left her family devastated and in need of support. Marsha Sawyers Spease, a close friend, has organized a fundraiser on behalf of Anthony Robbins to assist with the funeral expenses and other costs the family will incur during this difficult time. The GoFundMe campaign has raised $362 out of a $5,000 goal, with donations coming from friends and community members who remember Tammy fondly.

Many have taken to Facebook to share their condolences and memories of Tammy. Marsha Sawyers Spease, who organized the fundraiser, shared her deep sadness over the loss, recalling Tammy’s unwavering kindness. “Tammy Matthews was always so kind to me, and I hate that she has left this world too soon,” Marsha wrote. Others, like Christina Jolley Kline, expressed how much Tammy will be missed, calling her a “wonderful, sweet woman.”

Diann Shrewsbury also shared her condolences, remembering how Tammy helped her husband Ronnie with kindness. “She was so sweet. She helped Ronnie to the car with his food. She’s truly going to be missed by so many,” Diann commented. The outpouring of support and prayers for Tammy’s family has been overwhelming, showing just how much she meant to those around her.
